When the foundational skills and concepts of mathematics are precarious, future mathematical learning is at risk. The first steps of learning mathematics are a critical moment for all students. What do you teach? How should you teach it? In which order should we present content? All of these questions will be addressed in this session as participants dig into the very beginning of teaching mathematics to students with Autism.
